Butler National Corp. announced earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2009. Revenue for the quarter was $8.9 million an increase of 96.3% from the three months ended January 31, 2009 with revenue of $4.5 million. Net income for the quarter increased 131% to $642,000 as compared to net income of $278 000 for the same period in fiscal 2009. Operating income was $977,000 against $503,000 reported last year. For the nine months, the company has reported operating income of $2,288,000 and net income of $1,379,000 on net sales of $19,403,000 compared to operating income of $1,154,000 and net income of $550,000 on net sales of $13,805,000 reported in the same period last year.
