For the quarter, the company reported net loss of CAD 315,137 against net loss of CAD 320,196 or CAD 0.01 per basic and diluted share on revenue of CAD 140,310 for the same period a year ago. Loss from operations was CAD 315,185 compared to CAD 320,860 for the same period a year ago. Loss before income taxes was CAD 315,137 compared to CAD 320,196 for the same period a year ago. Comprehensive loss of CAD 315,137 compared to CAD 320,196 for the same period a year ago. Net cash used in operating activities was CAD 831,380 compared to CAD 248,754 for the same period a year ago. Expenditure on mineral properties was CAD 52,076 compared to CAD 1,665 for the same period a year ago. For the six months, the company reported net income of CAD 2,286,381 or CAD 0.03 per basic and diluted share on revenue of CAD 31,240 against net loss of CAD 19,227 on revenue of CAD 140,310 for the same period a year ago. Loss from operations was CAD 517,600 compared to CAD 619,115 for the same period a year ago. Loss before income taxes was CAD 2,213,881 compared to CAD 196,527 for the same period a year ago. Comprehensive income of CAD 2,286,381 compared to CAD 300,969 for the same period a year ago. Net cash used in operating activities was CAD 806,583 compared to CAD 737,346 for the same period a year ago. Expenditure on mineral properties was CAD 85,223 compared to CAD 568,062 for the same period a year ago.

Bactech Mining Corp. appointed Jay L. Naster, B.A., LL.B., to the board of directors. Mr. Naster practices in the areas of criminal, regulatory and disciplinary law with the firm Rosen and Company. Upon being called to the bar in 1986, Mr. Naster served as Crown counsel with the Ministry of the Attorney General Crown Law Office Criminal. He joined the Ontario Securities Commission in 1997, where, as Special Counsel, he conducted complex regulatory and quasi-criminal prosecutions, with a specific emphasis on the conduct of senior officers, directors and advisors of public companies and investment dealers. In 2005, Mr. Naster entered private practice with Rosen and Company.
