Beijing Capital International Airport Company Limited engages in the ownership, operation, and management of the Beijing airport; and the provision of related services in the People?s Republic of China. The company offers aeronautical services, which consists of aircraft landings and take-offs, passenger service facilities, ground support services, and fire-fighting services for domestic and foreign air transportation enterprises. Its non-aeronautical services include the franchise-based operating of ground handling agent services supplied for domestic and foreign airliners; in-flight catering services; operating duty free and other retail shops in the terminals; operating restaurants and other catering businesses in the terminals; and leasing advertising spaces inside and outside the terminals. The company also engages in the leasing of properties in the terminals; the operation of car park; and the provision of ground handling facilities for ground handling agent companies. As of December 31, 2008, it had 187 flight points linking with the Beijing Capital Airport, including 96 domestic flight points and 91 international flight points. The company was incorporated in 1999 and is based in Beijing, the People?s Republic of China.
