Ascent Solar Technologies Inc. unveiled its FlexPowerTM line of products. The FlexPowerTM class of modules, which includes Light, Mobile and Extreme, carries a power to weight ratio, achieves the power density of any flexible product currently available in the market and provides a unique form-fit capability. FlexPowerTM Light modules are manufactured for the Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) market. Ascent Solar to Supply Solar Modules to FTL Solar for Nyserda Project

Ascent Solar Technologies Inc. announced that they will be providing modules to FTL Solar for their research and development contract with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). The parties will work on the development of light weight flexible structures that include energy production from solar electric modules produced by Ascent Solar. The development work will be carried out under a $22,500 collaborative agreement between FTL Solar and the Center for Advanced Microelectronic Manufacturing in Endicott, and the Center for Autonomous Solar at Binghamton University.
