Allegiant Travel Company announced Andrew C. Levy will expand his role and will assume the title of president in addition to his current position as chief financial officer. Maurice J. Gallagher Jr., who previously held the title, remains chief executive officer and chairman. Allegiant further announced that Montie R. Brewer has been elected to the board of directors. Brewer served as the chief executive officer and president of Air Canada. Prior to Air Canada, Brewer served as senior vice president of Planning at United Airlines. Levy has served as an officer of Allegiant since June 2001 and was elected to the post of chief financial officer in August 2007. In his new role, he will now assume responsibility for all sales and marketing initiatives in addition to current responsibilities that include planning, pricing, scheduling, in-flight and station operations.
