Aker Solutions ASA announced that it had won an extension, valued at between NOK 300 million and NOK 400 million, on a maintenance and modification agreement with Exxon Mobil Corp. Work under the new option will start on 18 December 2009 and will last until 17 December 2011. The deal covers operations on the Norwegian continental shelf. The original contract was signed in December 1998, ran for three years, and included seven options of two years each. That is the fifth option that Exxon Mobil has exercised.
