Alliance Enterprise Corp. announced a technology breakthrough by incorporating a unique mechanical device in the development of TAE's Aerial Platform Landmine Locator System (the LML). The LML Aerial Platform is designed to carry an array of landmine sensors mounted on a sensor bar. An important requirement of the sensor bar is to be rapidly elevated, up and down, to meet the terrain surface as the LML flies over the suspected landmine area. After considering many mechanical systems, TAE will incorporate a unique mechanical device, the RRT, (a retractable reverse telescope) that will lower and raise the sensor bar automatically in seconds. This single piece of technology is paramount to ensure the capability and time saving performance of the LML Aerial Platform to detect landmines faster and safer than any other system on the market.
