Its preclinical product portfolio comprises backup peptides and small chemical molecule successors to ADH-1; peptides and small molecules targeted to inhibiting the metastatic spread of cancers; and peptides that combine angiolytic and antiangiogenic properties. The company has collaboration agreement with McGill University to develop, use, and market various cell adhesion technology and compounds. It also has license agreement with Oregon Health & Science University to intellectual property directed to thiol-based compounds, including STS and their use in oncology; and GlaxoSmithKline for the development of Eniluracil. The company was founded in 1996 and is based in Durham, North Carolina.
