Sources said that talks for potential buyout of Patni have been started and Ambit Capital has been instructed to seek buyers. The company has approached dell Inc., IBM, Fujitsu Ltd. and Accenture Plc though L&T Infotech Ltd. may still emerge as a dark horse, sources said. The management of Patni is expecting formal bids by January, sources said. The company spokesperson was yet to respond to a request for comment.
