Quote: Shares of Swiss bank UBS rallied after it reported first-quarter results, while shares of Aegon gained ground after it announced plans to sell its Transamerica Reinsurance unit to French Insurer Scor. U.S. stocks ended a four-session winning streak on Monday on light volume, with sentiment dented by reduced profit forecasts from some companies as well as long-simmering worries about rising prices for raw materials, analysts said. The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 0.2%, or 26.11 points, on Monday to close at 12479.88. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index lost 2.13 points, or 0.2%, to settle at 1335.25, while the Nasdaq Composite Index gained 5.72 points to close at 2825.88. Oil and gold prices were modestly lower. Nymex crude futures declined 9 cents to $112.19 a barrel, while gold futures fell $3.80 to $1,505.30 an ounce, a day after notching an intraday record of $1.519.20 an ounce and a record close at $1,509.10.
