Hunt Gold Corporation (PINKSHEETS: HGLC) confirmed as of July 7, 2008 that its Board of Directors had been informed that certain "activist" Investment Groups have obtained options to acquire significant amounts of the Company's shares of outstanding Common Stock; along with their voting rights.

The Board has accepted that these Investment Groups will now assume voting control of the Company by no later than 12h00 on Friday July 11, 2008.

Given the Company's current stock price and the "senseless" selling of the Company's stock to new record lows, the Board of Directors has agreed to accept the proposals by these Investments Groups; as it is undoubtedly now in the best interest of all stockholders.

These Investment Groups and other significant stockholders in the Company will now force the extraction of value from the Company and to eliminate the discount between the Company's stock price and its Net Asset Value per share.

The Board of Directors has been advised that these Investment Groups are not, at this time, seeking to acquire in excess of 75% of the Company's shares of outstanding Common Stock.

Given the current stockholdings of these Investments Groups, it will now be impossible for any other party to prevent these actions by the Groups.

Stockholders will be advised accordingly as your Company's Management becomes aware of further details and developments.

Did anyone else buy this? What is a good rule of thumb for knowing what price to sell at? I'd hate to ride it all the way back down again and miss the profit, but I don't want to sell too soon either.

if you bought in earlier today then you should have a pretty good profit i would guess. i was going to buy into this stock but i put my bets on hfbv today. i'm no pro but i could tell ya that it sucks losing what you could of had.

I bought 200,000 at .001, so I'm up $1000.00. This is on my Ameritrade account. I also have a Lowtrades account. On that one I bought 113846 yesterday morning at .0028 and I'm up $364.

I just have no idea of when to sell. They seem to have diluted their shares, so no way they're going back to $300/share. I don't want to lose my money, but if this is a chance to really make some big bucks - I don't want to screw that up.

I thought about selling (or trying to sell) the lowtrades shares at .01. It's the Ameritrade account that has me nervous.

Id sell and then find a new one at 0.001 thats the best number to buy into great work. Sell and throw this stock in the trash and forget about it. If it goes up at least you have something weather than if it goes down and have nothing you know

Hunt Gold Corporation (PINKSHEETS: HGLC) announced on July 14, 2008 that certain Investment Groups had assumed voting control of the Company and the Board of Directors, with the assistance of these Investment Groups, and that the Company will definitely be disposing of its "Molygold" interests very shortly.

Stockholders are advised that the Company has identified holders of the Company's "free trading" stock; equal to 81% of the Company's outstanding "free float" of its shares of Common Stock. The Investment Groups are commencing with offers to each of these stockholders at this time, with the intention of attempting to acquire these shares "off the market."

The Investment Groups have made an offer to Fortress Financial Group, Inc. to acquire their entire stockholding in Hunt Gold Corporation. The Board of Directors of Fortress Financial Group, Inc. has agreed to this disposal, subject to the price per share being acceptable to themselves, and that the entire holding be purchased in full and paid for in cash. It is expected that this deal could be consummated within days.

The proceeds from the sale of these "Molygold" interests are to be utilized to effect a substantial share buyback of the Company's "free float" of Common Stock.

I'm going to sell half. Then if I it crumbles, I'll have still made a nice profit. I'm up well over $2000. And if it doesn't crumble, I won't be sorry.

I've bought some HFBV. It looks like FFGO owns stock in HGLC and is selling it back to them in the Buyback.

Yeah I only have 120,000 shares in FFGO Im not liking buying in the 0.000s I get impatient. I like the 0.001 IVIT is good Check them out and FMNJ any oil and gas company and energy gold china silver anything else just isnt worth the penny unless it has a lot of hype at 0.001 and good number of trades at the end of the market day.

I'm in for 600000 shares of FFGO. They have to profit in some way from the HGLC thing. (I hope so anyway)

I know people that have 100,000,000 shares in this so itll work out if they split they split. Im not doing more than $20 on something that isnt moving yet. I say save till it gets to 0.001 you know it could pull another HGLC when it gets to that point because all the current doubters will want in. Im saving to go big in FFGO when that happens. I say let them do the work in the 0.000s and then jump in at 0.001 at least then you may have some movement and you are guarranteed a cover if it goes lower you know. Anything is possible the way HGLC went. IVIT should make it too.
