How to trade, trading styles beginner to expert Posted: 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago THANKS: 6
So it\'s a very good question I hear all the time, What should I trade?

Now me I like to stick with stocks under $0.10
30% drop with a full reporting company with a future

But there\'s requirements of me as I have requirements for a stock

I use www.scottradeelite.com and have real-time tick and Level 2
(can be started with under 25k with permission, they\'ll want you to have a couple thousands at least I imagine)
I can watch my stocks tick by tick, where as most get a quote every 15-20 minutes if lucky by website

If I didn\'t have this buying into something would be pretty blind(I was there before, doing exactly that)
You can use this, http://66.201.236.134/export/level2.jsp?symbol=& =Get+Quote but it\'s delayed

So what should you buy? What do you want to buy?
Are you interested in one sector that you might know personally?
Are you in need to diversify and invest in a couple different sector stocks?
Or do you just want to make some money and don\'t care what you buy?

I fall under the last one, I\'ve invested in company\'s in gold to umbilical cord preservation and much more.

Know you\'ll want at least 1,000 shares of whatever stock you buy, so high end stocks around $30 would be $30,000 per buy. Your money will go down slower most often the higher price stock you buy.

I also would like to point out, stocks at 0.0000 levels lose alot but gain alot per tick also. It\'s like a ying & tang

The more you can gain, the more you can lose.

You can be a Day Trader who buys and sells on the swings of a day or someone who researches company\'s invests low and waits months to years for pay offs and even someone in between.

I hate giving advice on what to invest in, I will share my investments though.
If you have any other questions just post them up, I\'d be happy to answer them.

You can get a scottrade account with 2k, I started mine with 2k, by almost 5k I had an elite account permission.

I\'d use a stock scanner for research, in scottradeelite I have Trade Ideas, a free service that\'s a real time scanner. Scottrate website has a scanner under stocks in the research tab.

As for some advice for tomorrow, I\'m seeing gains in XHUA, CXAC and GLIF
They\'ve all had their downfall, have been building and I think have enough support to move upwards.
All are reporting company\'s, different prices though the higher the less gains

I started with 2grand months ago on my first trading streak while only learning from myself and books I\'m almost up to 10k. I\'ve made alot of mistakes and learned a lot since then.

One of my first days trading I almost invested $200 in CIGI, hours later it would\'ve been worth $58,000 Yup and that\'s why I continue, little amount or big amount just matters how you play it

Here\'s Yahoo\'s scanner: http://screener.finance.yahoo.com/ newscreener.html
I\'d use a couple scanners, seems they don\'t catch penny stocks well unless you\'re paying for them
Mostly because the big stock players ignore them so as do the big stock websites

special permission, I was told I would most likely not get it, I guess they saw I was logged into my account all the time and always on my computer.

I trade primarily pinksheets, and if anyone trades pinks you need level 2 depth or really you get side swiped on buying and selling opporunities.

the level 2 allows you to point where the ask is going and how strong the bid is... without it trades might be short lived once you bought in and with many trading accounts level 2 not accessible.
